Hi, I'm Ata.
I spent years in private equity — first in New York, then in Vietnam, then investing across emerging and developed markets for a fund based in Singapore. I liked the realism of investing, but I always had this side of me that wanted to build something and be a little unrealistic.
Now I'm doing that. Currently building AnalystAI, AI analysts for alternative asset managers. I also run M&A advisory under GA Capital, combining AI with traditional advisory. And I co-founded Smyrna Collective, a hand-knit clothing brand, with my mom and sister.
I write about history, culture, startups, investing, and whatever else is on my mind.
